Cheap Oak Beds

Best way to paint solid oak furniture? Anyone tried the Behr paint/primer combo for this purpose?

We want to update our old entertainment center with paint. If we use this product, do we need to sand? Are there any products out there for this type of project that will give us a great result? We will be using a sprayer. Any tips or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks and happy holidays.Eco Freindly Wooden Beds

  I believe the Behr paint/primer is for walls. If the entertainment center has a poly coat on it you will need to lightly sand with very fine sandpaper or use a deglosser. If you have used any furniture polish or oil on it wipe the piece down with denatured alcohol. Prime with water-based kilz-it and paint with an enamel paint for durability.
